Our parish retains records of baptisms, marriages and funerals:

• Conducted by Archpriest John Lupish
  • in Kaufbeuren and Dingolfing in Germany from October 1945 onwards
  • at the Greta Migrant Camp and other places from August 1949 onwards
  • at our church in Wallsend and other places from 1952 onwards
• Conducted by various clergymen
  • at our church in Wallsend from 1977 onwards
  • at the Holy Theophany parish in Mayfield from 1994-2009 

Copies or extracts from these records, including Certificates of Baptism, are available upon request.

Regrettably, our records for baptisms, marriages and funerals conducted in Wallsend from 1994 until 2002 appear to be incomplete.  We may nevertheless be able to issue Certificates of Baptism for services conducted during this period based on other evidence e.g. time-stamped and other photographs, invitation cards, family statements, video recordings.
